So, in case you are just waking up from the winter, Kansas City has gotten a lot of rain as of late.
And, I mean, A. LOT.
It’s starting to wear on people’s emotions.
I don’t really feel affected by the weather. I am going to lay around in my PJ’s, unless I absolutely have to put on regular clothes, whether it is raining or not.
Ya’ll know I love my oats and eggs.
Except in the Summer.
For three hot (apparently now rainy) months, I switch to Yogurt and Granola with fruit. Every. Day.
It’s just so good!
My new fav is frozen blueberries, fresh strawberries, plain greek yogurt and granola.
Here’s a little recap of our week so far….
I know, it doesn’t look like much. Annnnnd honestly, I hadn’t been in the gym in a while so the walking lunges alone could make sitting on the toilet dreadful, but I am still sore from this workout on Monday.
I met up with a couple of friends and we walked 5 miles. One of the friends brought these two fluff fannies (I like to say fanny).
I came home and leashed my girls and walked another 30 minutes. I didn’t take them on the long walk, because their little legs can’t take 5 miles and my ego can’t handle carrying a maltese and beagle for 2.5 miles. Let the visual of me caring two dogs, for 2.5 miles, soak in.
They were happy and hot and chill for the rest of the day!
I spent a lot of time getting our life together in my planner and made a strong effort to get in more water.
A new water bottle does it every time!
We ate tacos. #duh

Yesterday I took one of our clients to an appointment and had to come home and lay down on the floor to decompress. I was pretty worn out the rest of the day. I did more work associated with that client throughout the day and ended up with a super positive outcome so it was worth it!
That brings us to Friday! I have a super fun day planned!
I’m going to do this workout again, have lunch with a friend and dinner to celebrate another June birthday!
