Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL in Kansas City. It feels like Spring and smells like Spring and our willow tree is getting her leaves so it must be Spring!
I started the day with the usual oats and eggs.
Before we headed to the gym, I checked the mail box and found a package that I couldn’t wait to tear open! Three of my favorite tanks in green, white and blue.
THESE seamless tunic cami slips are from Nuance Style House and are my favorite layering tank. When I wear leggings, I always slip one of these on as they are sure to cover all the important parts and add a pop of color. Plus, they are soft and stretchy and STAY PUT! Don’t you hate when you think you have a long tank and then spend the whole time you are wearing it pulling it down. I never have to do that with these.
And when I like something, I get it in every color (Justin loves that about me).
We got to the gym a little late yesterday
so my workout was cut a little short as I had to leave in the middle of leg extensions/glute kick backs to go to the chiropractor. I came back after my appointment and hopped on the stair-mill until Justin was done and then cooled down with him on the bike.
We ran home to clean up and I drank a smoothie while gazing longingly at the Athleta catalogue.
Smoothie: Kale, peanut butter, protein powder, banana, strawberries, pineapple, almond milk
We were both craving more, so we headed to our favorite place for pot pies and soup!
I planned on taking a picture of my gluten free chicken pot pie but I inhaled it so fast when we got home, it didn’t stand a chance of being photographed.
The soup I chose was a Zuppa Toscana (sausage, potato and kale). After my disappointing experience the other day, I was still craving this soup. This one was super delicious!
