Day Three of #runningfromsugar

Yesterday started with peanut butter toast and a banana.

Sara is so good.  This was as close as she got while I took about five (5) pictures,  but I know it took everything she had not to lick that peanut butter. (don’t worry she gets lots of yummy treats)

Once everyone was on their way for the day, I headed to a spin class and then stayed to lift weights.

Those leggings are Zella, ‘Live In’ Eclipse Space Dye (Navy).  Mine were on sale and there is no longer a link, but here is a SIMILAR pair in black.  I LOVE them.  I bought them because Shaeffer told me to in THIS POST and then in THIS POST and finally in THIS POST.  I’m glad I finally did!

As soon as I arrived home,

I got busy making a smoothie.

Later in the afternoon, I snacked on some chips and a Quest bar.

Dinner

Was half of a chicken breast, a chicken thigh and Brussels sprouts salad.

Yesterday was Girls on the Run practice, but Justin hurt his back so I needed to be here to get our clients home and settled.

I had a pretty good headache in the evening.  I’m not sure if it’s the No Sugar thing or if it was a tension headache since I have a lot going on this week.  Either way, I ate some saltine crackers and drank some water and it eventually subsided.

By the way, today is Day Three of #runningfromsugar!

  2. Day #3...the hardest part of each day is after lunch, and after dinner. This is when I would typically eat a little sweet something. A couple squares of Theos Salty Almond dark chocolate, and then a scoop or two of ice cream after dinner.
    But, like you Stacy, I have that same switch! Once I set my mind to do something, there is no other option (doesn't mean I'm not sitting here right now craving that "something sweet")!
    Let's go day #4, let's see what you've got in store! Hahaha...I'm a poet! :-)

  3. Can you believe I also had a headache on day 3??? I don't know if it was the lack of sugar or if I didn't drink enough water...HOWEVER (insert drum sound here! ) I feel SO GOOD this morning! I had a great night of sleep and I am already planning a healthy dinner (no sugar included!). Oh, and I brought 3 bottles of water to work today!!!

    1. Wow!! You are on fire! I feel MUCH better today as well. I have already put together two Kallex book case things from IKEA! LOL. Thanks for the reminder about water. I need to get some right now.
