I woke bright and early yesterday morning and snuggled in with my cup of coffee and Kim Kardashian game.

And a bowl of oats and eggs.
I had planned to meet up with the KC Divas for a workout, but it was chilly outside and I was all warm and comfy and trying to get through photo shoots and appearances and stuff and such.
Eventually, I had to leave my D-List life and rejoin my regular life.
The rest of the day
was filled with fun tasks like laundry and food prep.
I made lunches for our clients.
I baked like 20 potatoes, made a broccoli cheese sauce and put a ham steak in the food processor and chopped it up. Then Justin and I assembled the individual lunches so they are super easy to get ready each morning.
1 package ground turkey, 1 package turkey breast, 1 bell pepper, 1/4 red onion, cilantro. Mix all together, scoop on to baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Chicken and vegetable soup
For the soup, I boiled one whole chicken and a package of chicken thighs (per Justin’s request) with some sprigs of thyme and a couple bay leaves. When that was done, I removed the chicken and shredded it. While I shredded it, I added to the boiling water, two chicken bullion cubes, onion, celery, and carrots. I added the chicken back in and then added frozen peas and a can of green beans (drained).
There are extra baked potatoes, so my plan is that if we need some carbs we can add a potato to our soup. Other wise it’s just protein and veggies!
While at the store buying the whole chicken, Justin also grabbed several bags of salad. So we are set for most of the week.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! It feels like fall in Kansas City. The trees are starting to turn beautiful fall colors and it’s chilly.
