I have been up to three things:
In my end of the year post, I briefly touched on the fact that I broke my nose. In fact, everyone, including the ER doctor, was so focused on the cut, we thought I had just slightly fractured it.
It was no joke. It was broke. It is STILL tender. I was hit or miss at the gym because I was so uncomfortable and kept getting headaches and feeling nauseated.
Last week my upper back was super sore, but I thought it was from a back workout so I didn’t think much about it. Then I realized there was a pretty good size knot in there. The nausea kept coming, like EVERY. DAY.
Monday I did legs, and one set in was super nauseous. I pushed through thinking it was just because I hadn’t been pushing myself lately but the nausea would not subside. I knew it was related to my back.
I called a chiro office that also had a massage therapist. I wanted to start with massage and if that didn’t work, see the chiropractor. She worked on my back for 30 minutes and the nausea disappeared. Tuesday night I went to my Mom’s and got on her inversion table, Wednesday I got another 30 min massage on my back and I feel sooooo much better! I am going back today for another 30 minutes and maybe some cupping. There are two spots that are having a hard time releasing.
I am still a little sore and tight in my upper back but NOTHING like I was.
I have been diligently trying to get my house organized. Anyone else get the purge and organize bug in January?
Here are some of my favorite organization blogs:
- Just a Girl and Her Blog
- iHeart Organizing
- A Thoughtful Place
- Honey We’re Home
- The Inspired Room
Or you can just do what I do and go to iHeart Organizing, scroll down to her “blogs iheart” and read ALL OF THEM.
I have actually got a lot done. We have our group home, State Inspection this Spring so that’s always a good excuse to clean stuff up.
I am always drowning in paperwork. Feels good to get it sorted and cleaned up!
I am working on a separate post for all the stuff I have been making. This post was getting WAY too long!
Hope everyone is having a great January and powerful start to 2014!
