Yesterday started with realizing our Keurig needed to be descaled at 5:15am?! What the Whaaaat?! Evidently, every 3-6 months we should be running distilled vinegar through the coffee maker.
I was so tired yesterday morning (must be why I woke up an hour later than normal) I could hardly see straight. All I could see was the Keurig, very slowly, spitting a very concentrated fluid into my coffee cup. Bummer. I definitely was not operating at the level of reading the manual and taking care of the coffee problem. Off I went to Pilates with no caffeine.
It was a great class that incorporated cardio and light weights in addition to the Xerciser. The instructor really zeroed in our hips and mine are screaming at me today. Mission accomplished.
On the way home, I cruised through the Caribou Coffee drive thru. I needed some coffee stat and I knew I would not have the Keurig going by the time Justin woke up either! Two large coffees, please.
Once home and sufficiently caffeinated, I was ready for breakfast: Chobani honey yogurt, Udi’s gluten free granola and a peach.
Meal #2: Egg whites, one slice of gluten free toast with butter
It’s blazin’ hot in Kansas City right now and I’m not complaining. I’m thankful that we have air conditioning, but I’m not complaining! I love summer. I love the heat and the sunshine and clear skies. I should have a blow up pool by now, but sadly I do not. I need to do something about that.
I headed outside yesterday afternoon, to play with the dogs.
After soaking up some heat and sunshine, I headed back inside and fixed some lunch.
I made brown rice noodles with chicken sausage, stir fried veggies and one can of 98% fat free broccoli cheese soup.
It was so good, I ate it for dinner too!
That was my exciting day!
