Weird Words

I decided to take a little break from cardio yesterday morning.  I slept in a little later, blogged, and stalked people on Facebook.

A blog post from Healthy Tipping Point had me cracking up!  If you want a good laugh, check out dog-shaming.com

After getting everyone around here up and on their way, I headed to a Pilates class.  It was wonderful, as usual.  My legs have been so sore the past couple of days.  While Pilates is challenging on the reformer, I always feel really stretched out and relaxed when its over.

On my way home from Pilates, I started thinking about a conversation Justin and I had the previous day.

The weirdest words.

Number one on my list is: BELCH.

Also, THONG.   A word that is used for something you wear on your feet as well as your fanny.

Another good one: Smorgasbord.  It makes me think of Charlottes Web.  You may think this is an old word and no one uses it anymore, but alas, there is one person….my Step-Mom! (haha, love you Mom!)  How did the Swedish word for buffet make it into OUR vocabulary?

What words do you think are weird?

Yesterday was not a good food day.  Brace yourself, it gets ugly.

Meal #1: Oats with protein powder

Meal #2: Rancho Grande: Taco Tuesday. Two tacos and some chips with salsa

Meal #3: No bake cookies.

Meal #4: Chinese food: Beef with broccoli

And with that, I better get some cardio done this morning!

See you tomorrow, Friends!

  1. I have never tried a pilates class like that, looks interesting! There are so many weird words out there... we (in the office) say that sentence all the time... but now that you've asked I can't come up with anything ;)
