Today is one of those days that I am so filled with Joy and Excitement for life! Pretty sure it’s just my hormones coming back, but it feels GOOD!
Yesterday was a great day too…
It started with a run and a walk with the girls.
Then I headed downstairs to our home gym…..
and lifted weights.
My run was hard. In fact, I only ran one mile before I started taking walk breaks because my legs were so sore from the fun at the track on Saturday. After it became obvious that I couldn’t keep a steady pace, I set my Garmin to show my heart rate and did some walk/run intervals. I ran until my heart rate was above 180, then walked until it was below 155. I did that back and forth for two more miles before heading home and leashing up the girls. I walked another two miles with them.
Meal #1: Egg whites, gluten free toast and watermelon.
Meal #2: Brown rice noodles with meat sauce (made with lean ground beef) and a side of brussel sprouts.
Meal #3: Quinoa, turkey meatballs, roasted broccoli
I snacked on candy. >_<
