Man, I have been such a lazy blogger!
Last week was a fun week, though, so here’s what I’ve been up to:
I don’t feel old enough to have been married for 14 years! Crazy.
It’s another White House Black Market purchase. Man, that store is trouble! I felt A-mazing in that outfit, though, so I had to get it.
Justin played golf the day of our anniversary and I was like, “Seriously? You have to play golf on the day we celebrate our wedded bliss?” And then he brought me home flowers and all was forgiven. Until those darn lillies stunk up the place and the whole thing almost had to go outside!
I got some workouts in:
- Monday: Title boxing and lifted weights
- Tuesday: Pilates
- Wednesday: Rest
- Thursday: Ran
- Friday: Walk with Justin and the girls
- Saturday: Ran stairs and other track fun with a friend
- Sunday: Cleaned house (I cleaned our wood floors, so it’s totally counts as a workout!)
My diet was just okay, which probably explains my lack of blogging. I seem to only want to blog when I’m happy about my food and workouts.
Breakfast is always good. Egg whites with turkey sausage and gluten free toast or oats with protein powder and a banana.
The rest of the day…….
As the week progressed, my food choices got better. We just had to get some of the not-so-great groceries out of our house (sausage and salami!)
Saturday morning, I met a friend at the track and we ran, hopped and side stepped the stairs. Then headed down to the track for lunges and running.
Later that day, I met another friend for some shopping and girl talk. It was a great little Saturday.
Sunday was family dinner day/night. We celebrated the summer birthdays.
Always a good time with those people! (Evidently, I only took a picture of the cake, not the people.)
And last, but not least, a post from me would not be complete without some pictures of the kids!
