Highlights

Happy Monday Morning, Friends!

Sorry about not posting all weekend!  I slept in each day and rested all weekend. It was great!

Highlights:

  • Visited with a CAbi consultant Friday morning to check out their Spring clothes and purchased a few cute pieces!
  • Made Mmmm Sauce

  • Celebrated family birthdays Saturday night!

  • Started training for my first Half Marathon Sunday morning.  I decided to follow Hal Higdon’s Half Marathon training plan. Which has me running less during the week and then one long run on the weekend. I think I am going to like the 3 mile runs during the week because it will help me increase my speed.
  • Ate Sugar (Sister in Law made gluten free cake and cupcakes for the birthdays! Yum!) I also ate WhoNu cookies and chocolate/vanilla yogurt!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I didn’t participate in the Sweat to Street, AGAIN, because I didn’t get a picture of my outfit Friday morning OR Saturday night! Darn it.  I’ll try again this week!

    1. Thank you, Melissa! Any tips you have are appreciated! Like, what to eat during the race? Or should I eat during the race?

  2. Sooo impressed with your commitment to run a 1/2 marathon. Girl! That is awesome!!
I whine and complain over 5K training, and you're training for 13.1! Yikes, I'm officially wimpy, lol.
Love your picture collages. If I lived closer I'd be knocking on your door for technology tips!
    Have a great day!!

    1. I must say, I'm a little nervous! I'm just going to stick to the training plan and see what happens! I make the collage in Picnik which will be closing in a month. I'm so bummed to be losing it.

  4. YAY, I'll have a running "partner!" Exciting, you'll have no problem at all honestly. I'm following Hal Higdon's full marathon training and it's so easy, especially when you have other commitments.

How are those whonu cookies? I saw them at walmart and have been wondering.

    1. The cookies taste good. I wouldn't say they are healthy. A little less sugar, a little less calories, and they have added vitamins, but they are still cookies! ha! They have done some excellent marketing though!
