Crocheting & Cooking

Yesterday was filled with a whole lotta notta.  I read blogs, worked on this blog (still trying to upload all the pictures I lost), crocheted and cooked. 

I made an Exercise page to track my workouts. Did you check it out?  Man oh man, January was a rough month for exercise!  I like being able to see what I’m doing at a glance.  And if I want to go back and replicate a work out, it will be easy to find.  Hope you guys like it too!

I finally finished that blanket I have been working on for the past two weeks.

It had been awhile since I made a blanket and I really enjoyed the repetition of it.  If you are someone that has anxiety or a lot of stress in your life, I highly recommend learning to crochet.  I may not have a lot of stress, but I have a hard time relaxing.  Crocheting relaxes me.

I learned to crochet from Teresa’s You Tube Channel.

And the cooking.  I cooked two batches of brown rice with peas and carrots in our rice cooker, four chicken breasts in the crockpot with Frank’s Red Hot sauce, that then got shredded, and two chipotle pork tenderloins which I baked in the oven.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday.  It’s time to lace up my running shoes and this Sunday started right!
