Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I slept in until almost 7 o’clock this morning! I think I may have had a little too much fun last night!
Let me back up. Yesterday started with a blizzard!
Okay, so it wasn’t an actual blizzard but the white stuff was coming down! Then by the time we headed out for our date night, the sun was shining and we didn’t even need a coat!

Meal #1: Oats with chocolate protein powder
Meal #2: Chobani peach with Udi’s gluten free granola
Meal #3: Beef with broccoli from grocery store. Went to the store way to hungry!
Besides chips and salsa (which were amazing!), we shared the best guacamole in my life.
I ordered the shredded brussel sprout salad. It was a pretty large salad and was absolutely delicious. Besides the shredded brussel sprouts, there were radishes, onion, dried cranberries, monchego cheese and then it was dressed with a light vinaigrette. Oh my, it was so good. I loved every bite!
For my entrée, I ordered the crab meat tostados. Again, so delicious! The tostado was topped with guacamole, a pile of crab meat and then topped with red onion and a jalapeno slice. It was perfect in every way.
For dessert, we shared churros and sorbet.
We ended the night by walking over to another bar for a drink. I was wined out by this point and stuck to water. Well, and part of a rock lobster shot which was forced upon me! I do NOT like taking shots!
It was a fun night!
