Buckle Down!

Happy Wednesday! Today's is already shaping up to be a great day. The weather is beautiful and my coffee is delicious! I am waiting to go for my run until around 9am when we get our client's out the door and to their day time places. I can't wait until our youngest client graduates (although I'm a little weepy that he is old enough to do so) and everyone will be on the same schedule. Then I can get up at 6am, have an hour to wake up, drink coffee and then run at 7am. That will be my ideal morning! Only a couple more weeks. I enjoy running at 6am, but I feel my best at 7am!

I am waiting to get my pictures back from last Friday! I am dying to see them. Justin took some before I left that day, but I want to wait to get the real deal before I post anything! The dehydration program and competition tan worked wonders, I think!! Of course, I can pick my pictures a part with negative comments, but in the end, I am very proud of myself and how I have changed my body and my life!

I gained back four of the pounds I lost last week that were just water, but am feeling good! I WILL break into the 140's this week! Breaking into the next 10lb range is always so hard. I am working my butt off this week though and eating good! We made a giant crockpot of chicken with rosemary, dried minced onion, salt and pepper yesterday, so we are set for the week! Justin is on board with the food for the week, which always makes it easier for me. I am so weak when he is eating something more delicious, I always cave! We are planning our cheat meal for this weekend with Justin's Dad and Stepmom (two of our favorite people!) and eating good food and drinking wine is on the agenda! So, I need to be super focused all week so I can enjoy this night!

Getting ready for my 3rd Degree Black Belt is in full swing. It has been since January actually, but now it's time to really buckle down. I HAVE to be running everything EVERY day at this point, along with as much cardio as I can handle and weight lifting 3x per week. I am feeling good about it. I am in the best shape of my life and know my stuff so now it's just running it faster and harder over and over!! I can do it!!! I can't believe I am going to be a 3rd DEGREE BLACK BELT!!! It's very exciting! I have worked so hard for this! I have been training in Kenpo Karate for 10 1/2 years now!

I already talked a little about my diet and my menu for the week, but for breakfast I am still enjoying oats with protein powder and then for my second breakfast (post workout) I have egg whites, turkey sausage and gluten free toast. The rest of the day is chicken, sweet potatoes and a veggie. I usually have any apple in there somewhere after my second workout of the day! This is my favorite menu. All the food tastes good, keeps me full and I have TONS of energy! I'll probably be ready for a change this weekend, so I'll switch it up next week!

I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!
